CHALLENGE:
As multiple Mother’s Day branded ads started to fill consumer news feeds, Betty Crocker needed a way to direct the attention towards themselves, leading conversations and establishing themselves as the perfect brand to celebrate Mother’s Day with.
IDEA:
We leveraged Betty’s ‘fresh from the heart’ positioning, to create an emotive film, optimized for social, that spoke the universal language of love to all of our audience. The video message was simple: #ShukranMama, which featured a collection of people speaking in their mother tongue, thanking their moms for everything.
SOCIAL MEDIA RESULTS:
- In just 13 days, the film reached over 2.6 million people across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
- Received 1.2 million video views on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
- Achieved an industry leading VTR – almost doubling the regional benchmark!

CHALLENGE:
Our challenge was to promote Singapore as a key destination for GCC residents.
IDEA:
In March 2018, we flew two Dubai – based micro influencers, in partnership with Emirates Airlines, to explore the beauty of Singapore and share their experience on their social media channels.
SOCIAL MEDIA RESULTS:
- The trip was documented in over 400 Insta-Stories, 20+ Instagram posts, and 2 YouTube videos. Which resulted with the trip content reaching to 400,000+ people, 70,000+ engagements and 250,000+ video views.
- On average, the coverage content had a 4.7% engagement rate, which is 150% more than the industry average of 2%.

CHALLENGE:
With more than 70% of consumers turning to the internet for inspiration before purchasing a Valentines gift, Betty Crocker needed to cut through the cluttered consumer newsfeeds and encourage a new audience to get baking for their loved ones this Valentines…
IDEA:
As a Betty Crocker first, we directly targeted males with a socially lead campaign, utilizing popular male influencers Sid Vohra and Nael Abu Alteen to encourage fellow men to get baking with Betty! We created two entertaining videos of both men baking for the first time and posted these on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and supported with a competition for consumers to win a trip for two to Paris.
SOCIAL MEDIA RESULTS:
- Targeting a brand-new audience allowed us to reach over 3.6 million consumers across Saudi, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.
- Received 1.6 million videos views and sparking numerous conversations.
- Grew the Instagram follower base by 25% in just one month.

CHALLENGE:
Microsoft approached Socialize with a challenge to connect with and convert more people onto their online cloud-computing platform, Cloud Society. The key focus for social was to find a way to initiate conversations and educate potential consumers about the platform.
IDEA:
With that in mind, we created CLARA – our Cloud Learning And Resources Assistant to personally take users on a step by step journey to sign up to the software – all through chat.
CLARA, our Facebook Messenger Chatbot, used natural language processing to be truly automated, allowing us to give the perception of a personal conversation, whilst driving scale and bringing hundreds of people to the brand – at any given time.
With a comprehensive flow structure, CLARA allowed users to explore the Cloud Society offerings, sign up to their courses and subscribe to regular platform updates – giving the brand the opportunity to cover several consumer topics in one conversation.
SOCIAL MEDIA RESULTS:
- Over 42,000 messages sent to 8,500 people across 15 pages, in just 2 weeks.
- 200 platform registrations.
- 2.5% conversion rate (a new benchmark!)
